Here’s a list of steps to take before you depart.
- Have the Oil Changed – Also check the condition of the air filter and other fluid levels.
- Check the Air Conditioner – It should be blowing cold air
- Have the Battery Tested – Hot weather can put more demands on your battery than cold weather.
- Check the Tire Pressure – Don’t forget the spare.
- Top off the Washer Fluid – Remember the rear washer reservoir if the car has one.
- Check Wiper Blades – Are they more than a couple of years old? It’s a good idea to replace them.
- Inspect the Cabin Air Filter – A dirty or moldy air filter will smell bad and isn’t very healthy.
